Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it.

न उन्हें उसमें कुछ तकलीफ पहुंचे न वो उसमें से निकाले जाएं

Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

खबर दो मेरे बंदो को कि बेशक मैं ही हूँ बख्शने वाला मेहरबान

And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment.

और मेरा ही अज़ाब दर्दनाक अज़ाब है

And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests.

और उन्हें अहवाल सुनाओ इब्राहीम के मेहमानो का

When the angels came to him and said, "Peace"; he said, "We feel afraid of you.

जब वो उसके पास आये तो बोले सलाम, कहा हमें तुमसे डर मालूम होता है

They said, "Do not fear - we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.

उन्होंने कहा डरिये नहीं हम आपको एक लड़के की बशारत देते हैं

Tafseer Tinymce

He said, "Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?" (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.)

कहा गया इस पर मुझे बशारत देते हो कि मुझे बुढ़ापा पहुंच गया अब काहे पर बशारत देते हो

They said, "We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.

कहा हमने आपको सच्ची बशारत दी है आप ना उम्मीद न हों

He said, "Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?

कहा अपने रब की रहमत से कौन ना उम्मीद हो मगर मगर वही जो गुमराह हुए

Tafseer Tinymce

He said, "And what is your next task, O the sent angels

कहा फिर तुम्हारा क्या काम है ऐ फ़रिश्तो

Tafseer Tinymce

They said, "We have been sent towards a guilty nation

बोले हम एक मुजरिम क़ौम की तरफ भेजे गए हैं

Tafseer Tinymce

Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of

मगर लूत के घर वाले, उन सबको हम बचा लेंगे ۔

Tafseer Tinymce

"Except his wife - we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind."

मगर उसकी औरत हम ठहरा चुके हैं कि वो पीछे रह जाने वालों में है

And when the sent angels came to the house of Lut.

तो जब लूत के घर फ़रिश्ते आये

He said, "You are an unfamiliar people.

कहा तुम तो कुछ बेगाना लोग हो

Tafseer Tinymce

They said, "In fact we have brought to you the matter which these people doubted."

कहा बल्कि हम तो आपके पास वो लाये हैं जिसमें ये लोग शक करते थे

And we have brought to you a true command, and indeed we are truthful

और हम आपके पास सच्चा हुक्म लाये हैं और हम बेशक सच्चे हैं اور ہم آپ کے پاس سچا حکم لائے ہیں اور ہم بیشک سچے ہیں

Therefore journey with your household while a portion of the night remains, and you tread behind them - and none of you may turn around and see, and proceed directly to the place you are commanded to

तो अपने घर वालों को कुछ रात रहे लेकर बाहर जाइये और आप उनके पीछे चलिए और तुम में कोई पीछे फिर कर न देखे और जहाँ को हुक्म है सीधे चले जाइये

And We informed him the decision of this command, that at morning the root of the disbelievers would be cut off.

और हमने उसे उस हुक्म का फैसला सुना दिया कि सुबह होते उन काफिरों की जड़ कट जाएगी

And the people of the city came rejoicing. (* To the house of Prophet Lut.)

और शहर वाले खुशियां मनाते आये

He said, "These are my guests - do not dishonour me."

लूत ने कहा ये मेरे मेहमान हैं मुझे फ़ज़ीहत न करो

Tafseer Tinymce

"And fear Allah and do not disgrace me."

और अल्लाह से डरो और मुझे रुस्वा न करो

They said, "Had we not forbidden you from meddling in the affairs of anyone?"

बोले क्या हमने तुम्हे मना न किया था कि औरों के मामले में दखल न दो

Tafseer Tinymce

He said, "These women of our tribe are my daughters, if you have to."

कहा ये क़ौम की औरतें मेरी बेटियां हैं अगर तुम्हे करना है

Tafseer Tinymce

By your life O dear Prophet (Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him) - they are indeed straying in their intoxication.

ऐ महबूब तुम्हारी जान की कसम बेशक वो अपने नशे में भटक रहे हैं

Therefore the scream overcame them at sunrise.

तो दिन निकलते उन्हें चिंघाड़ ने आ लिया

And We turned the township upside down and rained upon them stones of heated clay.

तो हमने उस बस्ती का ऊपर का हिस्सा उसके नीचे का हिस्सा कर दिया और उन पर कंकर के पत्थर बरसाये

Indeed in this are signs for people who perceive.

बेशक उसमें निशानियां हैं फिरासत वालों के लिए

And indeed that township is upon a road still in use.

और बेशक वो बस्ती उस राह पर है जो अब तक चलती है

Indeed in this are signs for the believers.

बेशक इसमें निशानियां है ईमान वालों को
