And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it.

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.)

क़सम उनकी जो दौड़ते हैं सीने से आवाज़ निकलती हुई

Tafseer Tinymce

Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire.

फिर पत्थरों से आग निकालते हैं सुम मार कर

Tafseer Tinymce

And by oath of those who raid at dawn.

फिर सुबह होते ताराज करते हैं

Tafseer Tinymce

So thereupon raising dust.

फिर उस वक़्त ग़ुबार उड़ाते हैं

Tafseer Tinymce

Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army.

फिर दुशमन के बीच लश्कर में जाते हैं

Tafseer Tinymce

Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord.

बेशक आदमी अपने रब का बड़ा ना-शुक्र है

And indeed he himself is a witness to it.

और बेशक वो उस पर खुद गवाह है

Tafseer Tinymce

And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme.

और बेशक वो माल की चाहत में ज़रूर कर्रा है

So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised,

तो क्या नहीं जानता जब उठाये जाएंगे जो क़ब्रों में हैं

Tafseer Tinymce

And all what lies in the breasts is opened -

और खोल दी जाएगी जो सीनों है

Tafseer Tinymce

On that day their Lord surely knows all about them!

बेशक उनके रब को उस दिन उनकी सब ख़बर है

दिल दहलाने वाली

What is the event that terrifies the hearts?

क्या वो दहलाने वाली

Tafseer Tinymce

And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is!

और तूने क्या जाना क्या है दहलाने वाली

The day when men will be like scattered moths

जिस दिन आदमी होंगे जैसे फैले पतिंगे

Tafseer Tinymce

And mountains will be like flying wool.

और पहाड़ होंगे जैसे धुनकी ऊन

Tafseer Tinymce

So for one whose scales prove heavy,

तो जिसकी तोलें भारी हुईं

Tafseer Tinymce

He is therefore in the desired bliss.

वो तो मन मानते ऐश में हैं

Tafseer Tinymce

And for one whose scales prove light

और जिसकी तोलें हलकी पड़ीं ۔

Tafseer Tinymce

He is in the lap of one that abases.

वो नीचा दिखाने वाली गोद में है

Tafseer Tinymce

And what have you understood, what the one that abases is!

और तूने क्या जाना क्या नीचा दिखाने वाली

A flaming fire!

एक आग शोले मारती

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful.

तुम्हे गाफिल रखा माल की ज़्यादा तलबी ने

Until you confronted the graves.

यहाँ तक कि तुमने क़ब्रों का मुंह देखा

Yes certainly, you will soon realise!

हाँ-हाँ जल्द जान जाओगे

Tafseer Tinymce

Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise!

फिर हाँ-हाँ जल्द जान जाओगे
